Couple Skiing

In 10 days I am off skiing with the fam: the normal fun, competitive and emotional holiday is fine when your just with your own family, it is fine to shout, throw down your poles and have a strop. BUT, this year I am going with the family and my boyfriend: snow, kissing, open fires, cuddles, build a picturesque snowmen couple that is based on us, awww, ski together arm in arm and congratulate each other on how middle class and brilliant we look and feel.

Sounds like a dream. 

It potentially wont be: falling over, needing to wee in ski suits and the angry dash to find a toilet, falling over, wearing a helmet: sweaty hair and face, skiing badly, dropping poles, arguing with family, getting frustrated, falling over, children who are 4 skiing better than you, falling over, people that look graceful whilst you are wrapped round a tree and falling over and over and over. each time it will get funny and you can only fake laugh so many times. 

So, with a suitcase filled with thermals, thick socks, goggles and other 'sexy treats' lets hope the holiday will prove not to be the latter.

Blogging...eh?

Blogging. How do I blog? How do I start the blog? Will the blog come naturally to me? Will I become dependent on the blog? Am I thinking to much about the blog? Stop saying blog.


Hello, I felt I should start this. Not the best of advertisements I know, it's more a sort of succumbing to pressure: pressure from the on-trend aspirations I guess I have. I am 22 years of age and studying for an eventual masters in Drama and Theatre Studies, perhaps then this is an attempt to unlock all that "creativity". God knows I'm expected to be riddled with the stuff. Which in fact I'm not. My only attempt at a script consisted of a one woman show (starring me as the leading role, of course) about the woman behind the fake tan (it was partly autobiographical). Cheers to all you TOWIE fans who crushed that cynical dream.


I'll admit that is a shoddy synopsis of the creation of this blog but it is darn honest.
